Very simple process - hooking a bait, tossing it to the ocean and waiting for the string to be pulled by a fish. A rewarding experience…and tiring if you have issues on value of patience (and lack of sunblock. Haha).
This made me salute all the fishermen who bring fresh fish on our plates. They woke up early (very early) for a bountiful catch. They are inspiring to observe too. Spotless in-your-face cooperation trait. Pull in unison. Same direction, same pace.
I wish of the same traits at the corporate world. But truth be told, it’s totally a different world.
Wow! You fished those beautiful fishes,, Rizalenio? Then you have more patience than you claim to have:) I'm not a patient person, so fishing is not for me. Perhaps this is the reason I'm not eating fish either:)

Hi, Rob. This was in Batangas. I agree with you, they are so beautiful to be grilled. That was our comments too when we caught them. Some were even screaming "...bring them back to the sea!".

It is very common way of fishing around here - but not in such marvellous surroundings and with those interesting fishes.

How far from the shore and how deep were you fishing? Is there a limit to the number and size of your catch? Is a fishing license required? Btw, nice haul for the day!
ReplyDeleteHi, Sir bertN. My own estimation, it's 5km. Failed to ask how deep we were. We rented the boat the whole day & we fished for an hour. No limit was mentioned. Try nyo po pag uwi nyo sa atin, sama nyo po ako. :)

ReplyDeletefishing seems like a fun hobby for some people but not my kind of thing. i don't have patience and i could imagine myself dozing off on the riverbank waiting for hours to catch one fish if i'm that lucky.
