Very simple process - hooking a bait, tossing it to the ocean and waiting for the string to be pulled by a fish. A rewarding experience…and tiring if you have issues on value of patience (and lack of sunblock. Haha).
This made me salute all the fishermen who bring fresh fish on our plates. They woke up early (very early) for a bountiful catch. They are inspiring to observe too. Spotless in-your-face cooperation trait. Pull in unison. Same direction, same pace.
I wish of the same traits at the corporate world. But truth be told, it’s totally a different world.
Aside from chasing sunrise, I wake up early to observe fishermen perform their job too everytime I’m out of town. You will learn a lot from them about work ethics.
Wow! You fished those beautiful fishes,, Rizalenio? Then you have more patience than you claim to have:) I'm not a patient person, so fishing is not for me. Perhaps this is the reason I'm not eating fish either:)
ReplyDeleteHi, Traveling Hawk. Yes, we caught those fish. Thank God for those blessings from the sea. I love eating fish. I can live in Japan and eat those raw fish.
ReplyDeleteBtw, I'm enjoying your Japan series.
Thanks a lot for your comments, my dear friend.
hangganda ng mga fish - cguro layo ng inabot nyo just to get those kinds.
ReplyDeleteHi, Christeen. Gumitna kami sa dagat. Masayang pangingisda. Salamat. Happy weekend. :)
ReplyDeletegreat job, you actually caught some fish. this wouldn't work if one has motion sickness.
ReplyDeleteHi, Photo Cache. That's true re motion sickness, we are in the middle of the sea. Now I conclude, I was with a bunch of people that are hardcore bottom fishermen. Haha.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend. Thanks for your comments.
I've always wanted to try fishing!
ReplyDeletei like the photo of that yellow spotted fish and the last one you captured with the fishermen.
ReplyDeleteit's always refreshing to see photos of scenes we don't frequently experience on a daily basis.

ReplyDeleteDocgelo, surprisingly, these fish are edible. Thanks a lot for liking those photos. Always happy to read your comments pointing the one you like. Thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend. Ingat po kayo lagi.
.. where were these pictures taken, lito?
ReplyDelete.. that yellow fish looks better in an aquarium rather that ending up in a frying pan. :D
Hi, Rob. This was in Batangas. I agree with you, they are so beautiful to be grilled. That was our comments too when we caught them. Some were even screaming "...bring them back to the sea!".
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, Rob. Ingat. :)
It is very common way of fishing around here - but not in such marvellous surroundings and with those interesting fishes.
ReplyDeletenahilig ka sa fishlately..i mean underwater creatures. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, RuneE. I was surprised to see this kind of fish too. I can tell that we've been to that part of the ocean with rich marine life. Happy weekend. Thanks for your comments.
ReplyDeleteHaha. I have more to post, June. Let's enjoy this summer. Live more.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend. Salamat sa comments.
How far from the shore and how deep were you fishing? Is there a limit to the number and size of your catch? Is a fishing license required? Btw, nice haul for the day!
ReplyDeleteHi, Sir bertN. My own estimation, it's 5km. Failed to ask how deep we were. We rented the boat the whole day & we fished for an hour. No limit was mentioned. Try nyo po pag uwi nyo sa atin, sama nyo po ako. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend. :)
oh wow, those are such awesome catch, i do not have the patience to fish, but i am so quick in eating fish paksiw or sinigang :)
ReplyDeletefishing seems like a fun hobby for some people but not my kind of thing. i don't have patience and i could imagine myself dozing off on the riverbank waiting for hours to catch one fish if i'm that lucky.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing the fun. great post and photos.
ReplyDeleteHi, Betchai. I love paksiw na isda with talong at luya and sinigang sa mismo. Makapagpaluto nga nito mamaya.
ReplyDeleteHave a great new week ahead. Salamat sa comments. :)
